1956 Cadillac Sedan de Ville Hardtop
This amazing car is all original - paint is original, upholstery all original, etc.! This car was stored in a chicken coupe, where I found it, since 1972. This car was ordered with all options and owned by the wife of the local Cadillac dealer. The Cadillac dealer was a neighbor of mine and I would have seen this car as a little boy driving down my street. It is a two-owner car, before me, and has less than 65,000 miles on it. With the exception of minor surface rust, there is no rust at all! The upholstery is pink leather with black cloth. The car has factory air, power seat and windows, power antennae with signal seeking radio, auto dimming, and power steering and brakes.
The engine does not turn over, but the windows, seat, radio, blowers for heater and air conditioning, and lights all work. The right rear side window is cracked and there are a couple of tears in the front seat bottom and a small hole in the very top of the back seat. Otherwise, the interior is very nice. It indeed is a rare find. A car that is almost 50 years old that is in this nice original condition.
